no sex yet

so, went to the radiologist yesterday for the anatomy ultrasound....and we're still not sure what the sex is. the baby was sleeping really soundly in a tight fetal position and so we couldn't really see what was going on "down there." the radiologist told us what she thought the baby's sex was, but until we know more definitively, we're going to keep our mouths shut! i go to the OB today for a check up and will ask her if we will have another ultrasound at a later date. sorry to keep you all in suspense....but you'll have to wait!

getting bigger - 18 weeks...

am starting to feel a little like humpty dumpty although when i look at the photo, i guess i don't look that big...just feels like it. not stoked about my silly haircut either....luckily, the hormones are helping it grow faster than normal. had a good easter break. started to feel kicking for the first time which is weird and exciting. ultrasound this week to find out the sex....hopefully. :)

2/22/07 Alien baby

Went to the doctor today for my first appointment...and here's our baby. It totally did a little wiggly dance...weird because I can't feel it yet. Very exciting.

1/17/07 a long road ahead

Today is day 2 of being back to work since the long 3 day weekend (MLK's bday) and i would feel so much better if I weren't so queasy ALL of the time. I'm also not sleeping all that well either. I got up around 330 to use the bathroom and then was awak off and on until 6am when I sucked on some crackers before getting out of bed. A long road lies ahead for the next few months ahead until 2nd trimester. Is it April yet?

1/13/07 we're pregnant!

Holy crap! Can't believe that we're actually pregnant. Man, a September due date is going to be brutal for the beginning of school...but who cares? Took the test at 8am this morning and had a total sense of calm and happiness when it came back positive. Got donuts to celebrate when Jimmeh woke up. He was sweet and gave me a big smile and a hug.
